Introducing the CBIA Foundation
The CBIA Foundation for Economic Growth & Opportunity is a 501(c)(3) organization created in 2023 to address the evolving needs of Connecticut’s economy. Our primary goal is charting a course for sustained economic growth that drives further predictability and greater opportunity for all Connecticut residents.
Our Mission
We work to boost the state’s competitiveness and its ability to retain and attract business investment and talented people. Our approach represents a long-term, strategic focus on the fundamentals of a successful competitive economy, providing policy continuity across election cycles and administrations to drive generational change.

At the heart of our efforts is Opportunity Connecticut: Reimagining Our Workforce, Economy, and Quality of Life, a comprehensive roadmap for boosting the state’s economic competitiveness.
Tracking Connecticut's Economic Competitiveness
By the Numbers: Tracking Connecticut’s Economic Competitiveness—produced with the generous support of the Connecticut Business Roundtable. Updated annually, in conjunction with a regularly updated, to-be- released dashboard, By the Numbers will monitor key economic data points, shining a light on areas of strength in our state, as well as areas in need of attention.
