Delmarina López brings extensive experience in law, human resources, and public service to her role as associate human resources counsel at CBIA.

She has a proven record of helping businesses navigate workplace challenges through strategic policy development and operational solutions.

Before joining CBIA, López served as a city councilor in Chicopee, MA, where she chaired the Water Resource Committee and contributed to key committees, including Public Safety and Zoning.

In these roles, she addressed labor relations, governance issues, and policy improvements that impacted the community and local businesses.

As the founder of Delmarina Lopez Consulting, she advised small and mid-sized businesses on HR compliance, operational strategies, and workplace training. Her work focused on developing inclusive policies, resolving conflicts, and creating equitable solutions to advance organizational goals.

Her HR expertise grew further during her time as an employee experience business partner at the Commonwealth Corporation, where she led initiatives in policy development, employee engagement, and organizational improvements.

López holds a bachelor’s degree from Bay Path University and a juris doctorate from Western New England University School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in Connecticut.

An active community leader, she serves on the board of directors for the Caring Health Center. Her dedication to service has earned her recognition, including El Mundo Boston’s Latino 30 Under 30 (2022), Business West’s 40 Under Forty (2023), and the Women Empowered Leadership Award from Scouting America (2024).
